The Molodyozhny Microdistrict in Mozyr is not a street, but the largest residential area in the city, also officially known as the 4th Microdistrict. Its history began in the 1970s with the All-Union Komsomol construction project, when thousands of young workers arrived to build the oil refinery, and the district owes its name to that youth. The first buildings here were five-storey dormitories, and the first street was Yunosti Boulevard, followed by Neftestroiteley Street and Prytytskogo Street. Today, it is a dynamically developing space: modern residential quarters with enclosed, car-free courtyards are being added to the established infrastructure (Oil Refinery Palace of Culture, schools, libraries, Letniy Cinema), and construction of a new kindergarten and apartment buildings has recently begun in the southwestern part of the district.
