The 4th Microdistrict in Mozyr, also known as the "Molodyozhny" Microdistrict, appeared on the city map in January 1972 and became the largest residential area in the city. Its emergence is inextricably linked to the large-scale construction of the oil refinery — it was an All-Union Komsomol construction project, and the average age of Mozyr residents in the 70s was only 29.5 years. A notable feature of the area is the space-themed graffiti painted on the building facades by Lithuanian artists 40 years ago, which has been preserved to this day. Today, over 45,000 people live here, and the infrastructure includes two markets, dozens of shops, schools, and kindergartens. The district continues to develop actively — modern residential construction is underway in the southwestern part of the 4th Microdistrict, including 11-storey buildings with built-in premises for cafes and commercial facilities.
